Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Finisher's Helper to join our finish shop team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing live edge slabs and mantels to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

Assist finishers in finishing live edge slabs and mantels.
Sand, stain, and finish live edge slabs and mantels to a high standard.
Help match colors and finishes to customer specifications.
Prepare live edge slabs and mantels for finishing by cleaning, sanding, and stripping old finishes.
Assist in repairing and touching up live edge slabs and mantels as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

Previous experience in finishing live edge slabs and mantels is preferred.
Knowledge of different types of woods and finishes is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for color matching.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
